Great choice for sightseeing Strasbourg

A very historic hotel very close to the heart of all that you came here to see in the old town. Our room had a story with it. Apparently the King of Austria stayed in the room in cognito on his way to rescue his sister Marie Antoinette in Paris. Getting to the hotel is interesting. The hotel will send you instructions using certain spots as landmarks. They will provide a code that lowers pylons to allow you to drive essentially in a pedestrian zone. There is a parking structure near the hotel be we opted to use their valet which was fast and efficient. Check in was easy. Hotel lobby is small but elegant. There is a breakfast area serving made to order breakfast as well as a buffet which were excellent. There is a nice area outside to eat but during our stay it was too cold. There are elevators to help with luggage. Our room was a suite with a nice size master bedroom, hallway, sitting room with sofa-bed. TV with some English news. Bathroom was very nice. They do provide umbrellas if needed. Location is very good. The two main museums (Alsace, and Strausburg) are steps away. Just outside the hotel is the bridge leading into the old town. Notre dame is a short two blocks or so away. Everything is easy walking distance including restaurants, shops, Lafeyette department store, historic areas, river walk, petite France. Not far from the Cave under the hospital with the ancient wine cellar. Hotel appeared to be safe as was the area adjoining. However, saw suspicious looking people (pick pockets?) hanging around all the main tourist areas including Notre Dame so be careful.

A charming hotel close to attractions, restaurants and shopping. Walking into the hotel, down a cobblestone path, you are welcomed by beautiful renaissance architecture and you know you’re going to enjoy your stay! The staff throughout our stay were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, the bed comfortable.

My wife qnd I spent 4 nights at the Hotel Cour du Corbeau to visit the Christmas markets. Great location from all respects, just across the river which made it quieter but only 10 minute walk to everything. December is busy and the hotel prearranged some great restaurants for us, above and beyond. The room was very nice and had great windows onto the courtyard. Sitting outside for a drink in the festive courtyard was a highlight and got us in the holiday spirit.

Great location close to all the attractions, , top quality service and spacious, well presented rooms. No complaints at all! No vehicle access, but parking about 100 metres away. Didn’t use the restaurant, but enjoyed our visits to the bar.

My daughter and I spent one night to visit the Christmas market. Our time at the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and the hotel very comfortable. To be honest I was a little nervous when we first saw the entrance. Once we stepped in to the property it was very charming and we were met by a vey professional and friendly staff. The room was great and the breakfast was fantastic.
